3.1. RAILROAD DIESEL ENGINE OILS

 

PETRO-AMERICA, railroad diesel engine oils are zinc free, providing excellent protection to the silver wrist pin and turbo charger bearings EMD engines. These oils are produced using the highest quality solvent refined paraffinic base oils and additive package which includes a dispersant viscosity index improver. additive package also includes detergent, antiwear, friction control, anti-oxidant, corrosion inhibition, and foam suppressant agents.

 

 

APPLICATION:

 

 

PETRO-AMERICA, railroad diesel engine oils are zinc free oils for use in high output, medium speed diesel engines used in a wide variety of applications such as railroad, marine, and stationary engines. All PETRO-AMERICA railroad diesel engine oils meet Electro-Motive division GMC ( EMD ) and GENERAL ELECTRIC as well as ALCO and BALDWIN LINA-HAMILTON for use in both turbo charged and non-turbo charged engines. These oils are recommended for use in medium-speed, two or four cycle diesel engines burning distillate type fuel.
