1.6. NON-DETERGENT MOTOR OILS
PETRO-AMERICA, non-detergent motor oils are made from refined, solvent dewaxed base stocks. An anti-wear and oxidation resistance additive can be formulated into base stocks, if desired. It is recommended for use where a non-detergent quality level is required. API service classification SA.
APPLICATION:
PETRO-AMERICA, non-detergent motor oils are recommended for gasoline powered internal combustion engines used in tractor, automotive, stationary, marine, and truck operations where a non-detergent quality level is required. They can be used for diesel engine equipment where no abnormal fuel or service conditions prevail. They are also excellent for manual transmissions and gear boxes where the use of heavy duty motor oil is recommended by the manufacturer. They also can be used for general purpose lubricating of wire gauze air filters, generator bearings, small four cycle engines used for lawn mowers, garden tractors, snow throwers, and sweepers.
