2.1. MARINE DIESEL ENGINE OILS:
PETRO-AMERICA, special extra heavy marine lubricants are high quality, highly alkaline lubricants for the cylinder lubrication of all cross-head type marine diesel engines. They are manufactured using a specially selected combination of paraffinic base oils and dispersant, detergent, antiwear, highly alkaline reserve, and anti-oxidant additives. They can also be used for cylinder lubrication of all cross-head type marine diesel engines burning heavy residual type fuel oils. Specially recommended when fuel sulfur is higher than 3%.
APPLICATION:
SAE 60: Marine cross-head engines requiring highly alkaline and high viscosity lubricant.
SAE 50: Marine cross-head engines operating at high specific power outputs and thermal loads.
SAE 50: HEAVY, for large marine cross-head engines using high sulfur residual fuel.
SAE 40: HIGH QUALITY, low ash for high speed marine diesel engines.
API: SJ, SH, SG, CF, CE, CD, CF-2, GM 6094-M, DETROIT DIESEL SERIES 149, ALLISON C4
