10.2. CHAIN OILS
GLOBAL, chain oils are general purpose lubricants, they are straight mineral oils manufactured using specially refined naphtenic base oils, they have oiliness and stringiness additives, good film strength and adhesiveness, good shock load handling, and can be used as a chain bar oil and in closed chain and sprocket applications.
