10.12. REFRIGERATION OIL
GLOBAL, refrigeration oil are made of medium viscosity index straight mineral oils with low pour points, they resist sludging action of refrigerants in the presence of high temperature and metal catalysts. They are also water and wax free and compatible with other oils. They can be used in any type of refrigeration system except those using HFC-134a.
