5.2. MEDIUM ASH, GAS ENGINE OILS
PETRO-AMERICA, medium ash gas engine oils are manufactured using highly paraffinic base oils and additives for ashless dispersant, oxidation inhibitors, metallic detergents, and metallic anti-wear agents. They are intermediate base number and meet API classification CF. They are used in four cycle turbo charged stationary gas engine oils. Also engines that use fuels with elevated levels of sulfur or chlorine. They reduce valve recession, clean crankcases and top decks which will result in low wear and cleaner pistons.
